About
Built by a property professional, for property owners
I'm David Arthur, a local property professional who has been working in Shetland's property industry for over 10 years, with 17 years of experience overall. I started out in estate agency and property management, and as our portfolio grew, I saw first-hand the need for a reliable company that could take care of everything from cleaning and day-to-day maintenance to larger property improvement and exterior cleaning work.
We built our cleaning and maintenance team to solve that problem, initially for our own properties and clients, and have since expanded the service across Shetland and Orkney. I'm passionate about building a local team that customers can rely on and delivering a consistently high standard of workmanship and service.
That background is the difference. We are not a van that appeared last season; we came at this from managing properties, which means we know what neglect costs an owner and what good maintenance saves them.

Which areas do you cover?
We are based at 68 Commercial Street in Lerwick and work across the Shetland Islands and Orkney, including Scalloway, Brae, Sandwick, Whalsay, Kirkwall, Stromness and St Margaret's Hope.
Will pressure washing damage my roof or render?
That is exactly why we softwash. Render, cladding and painted surfaces are cleaned at low pressure, and roofs are treated with the method suited to the covering rather than the fastest one.
